Spinach & Tomato Veggie Melt

Ingredients

4 HaleLife Bakery Flatbreads, toasted
1 HaleLife Sun-Dried Tomato, Spinach & Mozzarella Blend
4 slices Follow Your Heart Smoked Gouda
4 slices Follow Your Heart Mozzarella
Earth Balance Vegan Butter, melted


Note: You can substitute for regular cheese the brand of your choice.  We use Follow Your Heart because it is gluten-free, vegan and free from the top 8 allergens and melts the best with the best flavor.

Directions

  1. Bring flatbreads to room temperature and cut in half

  2. Place flatbread halves facing up

  3. Place a slice of smoked gouda on four halves of flatbread

  4. Divide sun-dried tomato blend into four equal parts and spoon on top of smoke gouda slices

  5. Place a slice of mozzarella cheese on top of sun-dried tomato blend

  6. Place other half of flatbread on top of mozzarella cheese slice - completing the melt

  7. Brush all melts with butter

  8. Grill on panini press or on skillet on medium high heat until cheese is melted

  9. Let rest for five minutes then slice and serve warm
